Flowers from the Mount of Olives premiering in Locarno

We are excited to announce that our latest production, a feature length documentary Flowers from the Mount of Olives by Heilika Pikkov, will have its international premiere at the 66. Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland! The film was chosen to the Semaine de la critique competition programme.

Founded in 1990, the Semaine de la critique is an independent section within the Festival del film Locarno organized by the Swiss Association of Film Journalists. Every year the Semaine de la critique shows seven documentary feature films as world or international premieres. The section focuses on innovative films on the brink of the mainstream – both formally and content wise. Bold films which open up new perspectives and which provoke a debate.

Flowers from the Mount of Olives will be screened on Thursday 15th August at 11.00 am (Venue Kursaal). The second screening is on Friday 16th August at 18.30 pm (Venue L'altra Sala). Heilika and Ülo will be present at the festival.
